Hey guys, I am replacing my spark plugs soon and I was wondering how to get them out after I have loosened them. I looked at them the other day and saw that they sat in a huge recess. Also my spark plug gapper doesent have .043 on it so the dude a Checkers said I can do .044 or .042 and I should be fine. Is that true.

get a 6 inch extension for you socket and go to a parts store and get the socket for spark plugs...about $10-$20 and always a good thing to have in the toolbox...the spark plug socket has a "gasket" if you will inside that holds the spark plug so it holds onto the plug.

after you loosen them, you can use your plug wires to get them out if you dont have a sparkplug socket. yes, you can use .044 or .042

You can do that, or if you want, take 2 gauges that add up to .043, and put them together.
