Replace the crank bearings, along with the rod bearings, with Genuine Honda bearings of the correct thickness. They are color-coded to fit within tolerance between the inside diameter of the journals and the outside diameter of the crank/rods. When you take apart the block, keep the bearings from each journal/rod together and note their condition. The same thickness/color bearings may work, or you may need to go to the next thicker bearing due to wear. once you have the new bearings, use plastigauge to measure the clearaces and check that against Honda specs.C-Speed Racing has an excellent How-to as well as other how-toos.
