has anybody done this before? first of all i cant take the rods off the front handles, especially the threaded one. second, the rear handle cocmponents look different from the front ones. how do i modify the rear ones to work properly in place of the front handles?

to get rid of the keyhole? make it look smoother? thats the only reason i know of. im not sure but you can try looking on g2ic.com. i think they have an article on how to do it. ive seen it before.

edit: yea its there on g2ic.com. in the teg tips section. article is called shaving keyholes.

yeah its to get rid of the keyhole and make it look better.

i skimmed the g2ic teg tips and didnt think of reading the shaving keyholes one. thanks.

here's a helpful hint. it's easily done, the best fitting is for the driver side door you take the passenger side back door handle, and for the passenger door, you take the driver side back handle. it's just for some reason a lot easier to fit into place.
