when i first got my car, i got 4 cerwin vega 6.5's. i got a 15" sub a couple months later, and within a week of having the sub, i blew all 4 of them. when i crank the sub all the way up you can hear the rubber rattling on the 6.5's. the foam around the speakers have completely come off, and thats what makes it rattle. sometimes i can push the foam back onto the speaker and it'll stick for awhile. is there any way i can fix that? like glue them down? don't care if the 6.5's have bass or not, just need them to stop rattling and don't care to buy new ones.

sorry but that's nearly impossible...looks like you'll have to keep tweaking the bass levels so it will "bump" but not rattle - like i do!

Actually they make speaker repair kits. If the surround is in good shape and not broken you should be able to glue it down. Not sure where you get the kits but a friend of mine used to repair his DD subs and that glue worked wonders.
