i still have some adhesive stuck to my paint from when my emblems got ripped off, how should i go about removing this? also i have a spoon sports badge on my car, how should i remove that? i remember someone saying something about dental floss... thanks a lot..

Dental floss will sort of saw off the badge. Just get it under the adhesive and pull while sawing with the floss.

As far as the gunk goes for the other badges... WD40 will work pretty well. Rubbing alcohol will work too. They make goo remover and sell it at auto part stores. You can even get it at Kmarts and places like that. Just look for anything that will remove tar and sap and you can be pretty sure that it'll take care of your glue problem as well.

Goo Gone's great - leaves a nice orangy smell behind too. There's also stuff they sell called "Adhesive Remover"; it looks very novelty like it came straight from the ACME factory but it works fantastic - doesn't smell as great as Goo Gone though.
