just wondering if i can get some help/input on this issue.. back when i was switching headunits i snapped the radio cable the plugs into the back of the headunit. so i went out and bought a replacment antanne adapter and tried to splice it and connect it to the antennae wire i broke , wont work at all , any ideas?

antenna cable doesn't take to well to being spliced together, you'd almost just be better off buying a new cable to run from radio to antenna.... that cable costs like $12 or so bucks at the Best Buy installtion bay

because it's carrying a radio wave (RF transmission). This makes it extremely suscpetible to degradation if the insualtion and braiding are stripped back. You gotta fix a break with coax connecters...
