I just bought a 96 integra ls and when i turn on teh stock radio it says code. does that mean i have to punch in a code to get the radio to work? If it is a code is there a way to reset it?

I don't know if this works for a 96 integra but on 98+ if you pull your ashtray all the way out and look at the bottom of your ashtray there is a white sticker and that should be your radio code. The local Acura dealer taught that one to me.

Look in under the hood where your fuse box is.
Under the fuse box cover there might be a five digit code.

to get your radio code, the dealer should have (but may not have) put a little white sticker that is about a 1/2 inch tall and about a 1 1/2 wide it will have either and or both a serial # or the radio code which is a 5 digit numerical code , if you cant find it you can take your radio out and tell a honda or acura dealer your serial number which is on the bottom of your radio. hope this helps

Get your serial number, call ACURA and they will give it to you. My friend and I went to ACURA today and they gave it to him...
