I need to remove my dash this weekend on my '97 GSR, when i do:

1. I know there are 2 bolts, one on each side of the dash (which you must open the dorrs to get to) and one bolt behind the HAZARD AND DEFROST buttons.
Are them the only 3 bolts i need to unscrew in order to take the dash out?

2. Should i disconect the battery?

3. Will the Airbags go off or what?

THANKS!!!

Disconnect your battery. The airbag cannot deploy with no voltage to fire it.

There are bolts under the clock, under the center console (take it out and look) on the sides under the plastic rectangles and also under both sides on the bottom (take off glovebox and driver coin panel).

Thats it.

Seriously.

Electrical connectors are located by the fuse panel and under the center console. They are big huge wide connectors. I cant remember how many there are on the drivers side by the fuse panel honestly.

Its easier to get out if you take off the wheel (and signal stalks) OR drop the steering column (4 bolts under it after you remove the "clamshell" with the keyhole in it. The steering column will drop all the way to the floor without hurting anything.
