ok im looking forward to buying dc sports race headers which are NOT C.A.R.B. EXEMPT AND IT ELIMINATES THE CATALYTIC CoNVERTER but i do not live in california where the laws are so strict.would it be a good idea to purchase this header or not?

Running no cat could be a huge fine(If caught), and you will fail visual on smog. It's really up to you, your goals, and what you want to do.

stafford va is a ****ty place to have a race header. Get the 4-1 SS and get a test pipe and then swap out the test pipe for a ****ty cat for inspection.

BTW i am in Blacksburg with a 4-1 Stainless steel header...unfortunatly just sold my test pipe....but it was awesome for emissions. try that.

You can still run a cat converter with it, the cat will just sit in a non-standard location is all.

thats why i love wv. been running straight pipe for 2 years an have had no problems with inspections!!!

Thanks for all of your opinions i really appreciate it.Im just going to go with a dc sports header 4-1 and get a high flow cat from carsound and a apexi n1 full catback exhaust system.
