i have a gen 3 integra...and i noticed that my power steerings a lil stiff..ive driven other integras and thier power steering is a lot softer than mine. my fluid is at normal level. The thing is that i LIKE the way it is right now. Kinda half power steering, and half no power steering. Some people tell me that i need to change the fluid or tightten the belt or else im going to ruin something. Is that true? what is causing it to be stiffer than normal and is it safe to keep driving like this?

I dunno, but I had an 88 civic hb with stiff-as-hell steering and ever since then i've had really muscular arms. Keep at it son, one day you'll be just like me.

Is the fluid below the minumum level? if not it should be fine.

You could also pull your power steering belt and see if you like it that way. Very stiff ;-)
