I will have to say thats pretty impressive with those cams in the car. Have you thought about going something a little beefier? Great numbers though!

I will have to say thats pretty impressive with those cams in the car. Have you thought about going something a little beefier? Great numbers though!
thanks man, yeah im trying to save up for some skunk2 pro 1 cams and a tri-y header.

on a side note, those numbers do not include actual cam timing...because we never adjusted them, when i got it tuned noone could believe it made those numbers....

1995 GSR, I/H/E Set-up on Mild tune.

First run: 158.8hp, 120.54 tq
Second run: 160.01 hp @ 7800rpm, 123.63 tq @ 5800rpm, 90% torque available from 2800-7200rpm
Conditions: ~98°F, ~30% humidity

Set-up:
Comptech Icebox Intake w/ K&N Filter
DC 4-2-1 Ceramic Header
RSR Exmag exahust
Highflow cat
Apexi VAFC

i just recently dynoed my car today... so i dont have graph pic on my computer yet
all stock except
DC short shifter
cheap CAI with K&N filter

i got 146.9 whp and 114wtq

and its 1998 gsr with 130,000 miles

Now it's my Honda Challange H1 build

247/192 N/A @ 5280ft

wonder why using the stock CRV head instead of the A2 one..

bigger intake valve and ports? the stock one was damaged and this was a replacement?

The stock CRV head has identical ports and valves to the K20A/K20A2 heads. But it doesn't have reliefs for Lost Motion Assembly's. So I ran an OEM VTEC Killer setup similar to aznasinine(above).

Thanks! Stage 3's. It's mostly a track ***** now so I run 15x8 949's and 225/50-15 Hoosier R6's. Honestly, it's a little stressful to drive. I've got an S2000 CR that's much more pleasant simply because I have so much more time to relax between turns, and brakes much more predictably. Once I fix the brake situation though, it should be much better. But there's not another FWD car that's even within 4 seconds of my best, so it is quick.

Old Dyno (Non-vtec):
Mods: I/H/E/hi-flo cat, engine mount inserts - 128whp

New Dyno (Swapped vtec head on same car)
Mods:
B16a head
B16a manifold
B16 stock cams I believe
ARP headstuds and rod bolts
ACL race bearings
B16a transmission
Stage 1 clutch
176whp

Used the same dyno both times. I also included old non-vtec and new ls-vtec numbers as well as overlayed both to make it easier to see the gains.
