Finally got around to taking pictures of my car with the LED bulbs in place. I'm real happy with the 1157, but the 194 are still the same. The 194's are only lighting 1 spot on my clear corners & the other spot is just blank darkness. You'll see what I'm talking about in the pictures.

I got a pair of Pilot 12 LED 1157's for $39.90 shipped from HERE. The 194's have 4 LED's and I got them on eBay from www.terrshop.com. They also sell the 1157's but they are only 9 LED's. You can find the 1157 White LED's for cheaper than $39.90 on eBay but I didn't feel like waiting for auctions to end.

The pair of Pilot's I got are guaranteed for 100,000 hours.

Problem is only with the 194's, the 1157's are perfectly fine. The bulbs I have are 2 different manufacturers, gonna have to go on a search to find Pilot 194's as well now.

If someone knows where I can get a pair of Pilot 194's lemme know.

Question - I just got my LED's in my front bumper as well (went with amber cause cops love to bust me on stupid 5hit) Are your turn signals faster? (Im thinking because of the less power needed) Just checking to see if Im the only one. My hazards are the only thing that is wierd - they are the stock "time" I guess you could say. I got my LED's with a 10 year warranty.

Yes they are faster. LED bulbs have a faster response than oem bulbs. It's is kinda annoying when I'm trying to talk to someone when I have my signals on. I gotta talk over the dink dink dink dink dink, it sounds like my turn signals are on a caffeine run.

Do the 194's light up, or do they just not match the 1157's? I got those same 194's and they didnt light at first, you just need to turn the bulb around in the socket. It sucks tho cause those LED 194's look JUST LIKE the PIAA Xtreme white 194's, but a little less bright.

Het BTW what headlights do you have man? they seem to match better than mine do...

hah i have those same bulbs in the same spot in my rear lights and never gotten pulled over, i love them. i like your lights they look tight.
I don't get bothered by cops about my lights anymore (knocking on wood). They are white, just have a slight blue tint to them. If a cop ever stopped me for them I would pull the bulb out & show them that it's white & not blue colored glass like the APC's.

The 194's I got for eBay do light up. They have to go in a certain way into the 194 socket. If you look closely at the 194 LED bulb, you will see a metal contact strip on either side of it. Put it in & if it doesn't light up you have it backwards & vice versa.

I'm still looking for a pair of Pilot 194's to match the 1157's I got, because the Pilot's are bright as hell. I believe the Pilot 194's have 6 LED's as compared to the 4 LED's that are on the one's I have now.

Headlights are not Silverstar 9005, they are PIAA Xtreme White Plus 9006.

how bright are they during the day ? are they clearly visible ? I've had some led 1156's before, and they were too dim during the day. just wondering if they're bright enough to use safely when it's daytime
