im doin the same with paint remover but it was a mission to remove it all. I did finally though but it doesnt look as clean as yours so im tryin to wet sand so i can get some shine, and its workin fine but damn, its a hassle to get every single corner and grove to smoothen out. Any suggestions on what would work better for me to get a nice shine

btw, nice wheels

ehh the shine was natural i guess?! i dunno, my suggestion would be to get the air craft remover spray and juss spray all over the valve cover. then get a rag and rub off the black. after that, i used some gasoline (i dunno why, my friend said it would work) to rinse off any black residue. after that, i got my valve cover to match the headers.. which turned out pretty good. thanks for the compliments.
