I've got a buddy who runs an Escort ZX2, who brought to my attention a problem they have with their PCV valves, when a turbo or supercharger is added. A number of the guys have had those valves go bad, shoot oil film all into the intake and make a general mess of everything. This got my mind in motion because I had similar problems with oily film all in my intake. Anyways, those guys talked about replacing the stock pcv valve (which was not intended for forced induction) with a pcv valve from the '84 SVO Cobras, with were turbocharged. I'm just curious if anyone else has had a problem like this, and what their solution was. I'll probably end up either putting a check valve in series with the vacuum line, or getting a pcv valve that fits out of another f/i car. Let me know if anyone has run across this!

I noticed the same problem on my boosted teg. I recommend an oil catch can. it goes between the PCV and IM. it actually accumulates oil and leaves my IM nice and oil free.
