Hey i was just wondering if the P8R head would be best on the b20 block or b18b block

absolutely not. B20 sleeves are notoriously thin and prone to cracking. Try searching a bit

A quick bit of info on the P8R I got by searching on TI....



This is a super rare head casting of a B20 head. Want to make good nonvtec power? Ports are different than regular LS heads, chambers are already opened up to 84mm, and intake valves are 33mm (vtec size). This head out of the box will flow as well as most ported LS heads, and you port this thing and get custom valves like another h-t member (fastone beast LS motor) you can easily be destroying vtec setups because of its 33mm intake valves seats.

Due to detonation, get it tuned and it would be alright to 14 psi. I've been there, street tuned on neptune and it lasted awhile, something stupid happened, I let a friend "play" with neptune and it cost me a sleeve.

Oh ok. It's good to 14 psi on my GT40....ok.

b18 has 81mm chambers b20 has 84mm chambers. the p8r head has 84 mm chambers to match the b20. u cant put 84mm chamber head on a 81mm block, BUT u can put a 81mm chamber head on a 84mm chamber block. the stock us b20s have a p75 head on them wich is the same head as the b18b ls

It'll work. You'll end up having overhang... the cylinder bore in the head will over lap the cylinders. it may not be ideal, but it'll work.
