I just bought this well used 98 Integra LS B18B and I'm new to this car. Today I went to change the oil. I had let it sit over night before doing the oil change. Damn this filter is hard to get at. Anyway, I start screwing the oil filter off expecting oil to start running out of it. Nothing really? I keep screwing it off and nothing is running out and down the motor with the drain pan waiting for it. Never in my life have I ever removed an oil filter from a motor without oil running out of it? I can see oil has been in it, but when I turn it over to pour it out hardly any came out at all. What in the world is up with that???? Is that normal for this motor???????

I need a quick answer to this PLEASE!!!

What was the oil level before you changed the oil, and how many quarts came out?

The oil level was up and normal on the dipstick when I changed the oil. There doesn't seem to be a problem. Motor has oil pressure. I just don't understand how there could be no oil in the filter after sitting overnight.
