About 2 years ago I purchased a 93 integra LS from a private party; it came with no manuals/owners guide etc, so please excuse my possible "newbie" question:

I'm trying to get the foglights to work. The dash button doesn't seem to be active (as the colored area does not show when the button is pressed - like the red light for rear window defrost or the green/blue light for cruise control), and the lights obviously do not turn on when this is pressed.

What steps must I take to make my foglights function? Is it a matter of simply rewiring the dash button and installing bulbs? Or did fog lights (actual working fog lights, not the physical existance of the lenses in the front of the car) come as an option in 93 LS models, and perhaps the original owner did not pay for this luxury?

Basically - if my car has never had fog lights that work, what do I have to do to get them to work? (as far as installing bulbs, rewiring work, etc etc)

Thanks!

Ah - that would be the problem. As I said, excuse the newbie ;) Is there any way to be able to run foglights without headlights on? Also - if thew stock bulbs in foglights are the same as the headlight bulbs (in color), what is the difference? Are the foglights angled down?

Go to g2ic.com, go to teg tips, look under the lighting section....there is an article that tells how to make only the fog lights come on and it seems easy enough. I plan on doing it too when I have the time. As for the difference between the fog lights and the regular lights, yes the fog lights are angled down.
