If VSS from the Automatic has exactly same shape, there is no reason not work for Manu tranny. VSS has two parts, lower part has a gear which should last a life time, the upper part is electric generator creats pulse feed to the speedodmeter/ECU. It just a pulse generater from the drive axle. Check with Acura dealer if they give you same parts number for auto/manu, then you know it for sure.
