I have a code #1 Oxygen Content what would this be?? i need help asap!

I have been putting the motor togeter and it started just fine but this engine code came up.

sounds like your o2 sensor needs to be replaced...

but you need to provide more information

what mods do you have
last tune up
when did this light show up
etc....

this is going to help answer your question

we just rebuilt the motor with 10:5 comp pistons, everything is new on the motor pretty much. The O2 sensor has about 40K miles on it. the light showed up after about 20mins of being cranked

could there have been a hose loose or is there a sensor that would directly throw this code?

Could also be a code 10. Short flash is 1 longer flash is 10.

it was a pretty quick flash however what is the long flash and what would cause that

cant u take it to autozone?..they do check engine lights 4 free....

yeah i was thinking that i just don't want to drive it until i got a few ideas from people on what it could be to make sure it was totally safe to drive

i use to have a problem with this b4. i just went out i got a new 02 sensor. but dont get the cheap one cuz it wont work ( i already try it) get the one that is made for integra ( expensive one) but, then again i could b code 10.
