Whats the difference between the a front bumper reinforcement and a front bumper support. I looked on passwordjdm they're selling both.

one supports the front end and one protects the front of your car on impact.

no that is the front reinforcement bar. i've heard teh term extension used as well, but most common are front reinforcement and front bumper support, which are two different things. the bumper support is what the front bumper cover uses to attach itself the body.

it protect your car from impact from a wreck (hopefully which doesnt happen) if it isnt present your a/c condensor, radiator and most likely your engine will get damaged if you get in a wreck that is some what "head on"

yeh, but as you can see, japanese safety standards aren't as strict as the U.S. Our USDM reinforcement bars are like 10 times as thick as that...i hardly think the JDM reinforcement will do much in a crash. .. just avoid accidents at all costs, because there isn't much protection up front when u have the jdm conversion.

Some body shops can make the USDM rebar fit using the JDM radiator support. It just takes a little work (some more welding than normal) and you have to cut your bumper a little bit.

You just have to cut the ends off of the US support. At least I think so?
