I've got an auto teg too. It does that because when you first start your car it idles very high when it's cold (mine at around 1700 rpm) for like 10 sec. Then it goes down to 700 rpm very slowly (2+ min). It's like dropping a clutch on a manual transmission at 1700 as opposed to doing at a lower rpm.Gensavestheday on Jul/27/02 said:yeah, ive got an automatic teg. and if i dont let my car heat up for at least a minute or so , if i put it in reverse the car slams backwards into reverse.. i wonder what that is..
