My GSR is about to hit 100k miles.

I was wondering what kind of oil I should be using.

My original choice was Mobil1 5W-30 Synthetic but I've been hearing that my motor's mileage might be too high to start usign synthetic now and what not.

What do you guys think?

pfft, I got 148k and I use synthetic. just do it.

oils oil for a dd imo (but what do i know). Mobil 1 will do fine. I mean Castrol Syntec is another full synthetic, and cheaper.

if it has been on conventional up until now then it wouldnt be a good idea to switch. Synthetic cleans a bit TOO well for older motors and could possibly cause leaks that arent there right now. If its already been on synthetic then it wont matter
