I used my a/c all summer no smells and even to this day same thing. But when I use my heater I get this weird metal smell and it hapens quite often with my heater its on a 02 type s btw.

not yet, I figured it was all right because it only gave that smell when I used the heater

went to honda today, picked up two one for recirculate and one for incoming air $15 each. Both had what looked like mold growing on them
. changed them and my air has never smelt better, and im not getting any weird smells from my heater at the moment so im hoping that was the problem.

thanks for suggesting that I would have never guessed it the idea completely slipped my mind.

lol well glad i could help.. when you run your ac in your car turn it off a min before you turn you car off but let the fans continue to work this helps blow condensation from the air changing from cold to hot out and help cut down on mold.

and if you weld you know all about the smell.. or at least the flux
