i'm about ready to upgrade my front coaxials to some decent component speakers. i know i'll have to get an amp for this to sound good. is it more important to try and match up the rms ratings of the speaker and amp or the peak power rating? i'm guessing the rms but don't know for sure.

i'll probably get pioneer components since i've been satisfied with the pioneer coaxials (except for wanting more depth in the front) i've had for the past year. are pioneer amps any good, or would i be better off to venture to another brand?

match the RMS power but I'd also look at the THD% i think it's important for mid's and high's
