Here is something I have been researching for a bit, and could only find three articles on Ti that had any info. on girdles: Well here is the question... Is a main girdle a good choice to put in a Ls bottom for an Ls/Vtec? As many have said yes, I assume most of you will, and if you say yes, what kind of work would be involved in installing one...Z10 says you need a new oil pan, pick up, etc. That seems excessive. Endyn makes one and doesnt say anything about the requirement of that stuff for its installation. Well any help is appreciated, this is a somewhat new topic aparently from the little amount of threads all over the net. Thanks - Matt

yes they're a good idea for any high-power applications that do not already have one (namely, non-vtecs)

if you put a stock-vtec-compatible girdle on a car that does not have one, you will need 6 vtec main cap bolts, new oil pickup, new oil screen, main-cap dowels, etc. endyn doesn't list it b/c they expect you to know these things for such a technical part.

the endyn piece is nice, as it has very stock-like oil return, for less windage losses, as compared to the z10 girdle. you can also always use a stock girdle, if you want to save a few bucks.
