can you put a spark plug cover on the ls non Vtec model because i was looking at the DIY paint your own valve cover and the DOHC vtec has a different bolt pattern (all 4 on top) And the ls has the bolts in the middle and all the way to the right

No you cannot. Its only for the GSR or Type R.

Moroso makes a valve cover for the non-vtec motor that has the spark plug cover.  But it's hella expensive and not worth it if you ask me...although they do have a clear one.
