For some reason my car is acting wired. It will start but it would have a knocking sound and the car will accerlerate slowly. It sounds like it's coming inside the engine or something. It wasn't like that before.

Could be a number of things!!! my best advice is to take it to acura and have them take a look @ it, dont trust shady tree shops they'll mess more **** up!!!!

hmm..i don't even think they'll touch my car. It's drop and it's got a few aftermarket parts.

It could be the pistons. one of them may be broken off.

the car sounded better after i replaced new spark plug wires. But it will do a knocking/ticking noise inside the engine while it's idling

valve adjustment maybe? bring it to acura. shouldnt be more than $100

It's quite loud..I'm not sure if it needs valve adjustment...If it's not valve out of spec...what could it possibly be???

Rod knock? Are you low on oil? Um, did you over-rev it? Does it idle horribly and shakey? It could be a number of things... Try to figure out where the noise is coming from. And is it more of a ticking sound or a knocking sound? Do you have any check engine lights? You could have rod knock or have the valves out of spec and ticking or maybe even your injectors are ticking...
