How hard is the JRSC on the engine? Is it still cool to commute with it?(I drive about 80 miles a day). Also, I have a Comtech header and a Apexi WS exhaust. Is this an okay setup for a JRSC? I could inagine I could get better gains with a larger exhaust, but I wanna take one thing at a time

both header and exhaust will need to get the boot if you want to see maximum gains from the jrsc. Comptech is 2inch collector which is WAY too small. I'm not sure about the Apex but if I remember correctly the apex system is 2 3/8 OD-someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Like the mods on here keep preaching. size up your exhaust system w/ your power goals. 2.5 ID should be fine for the jrsc ona C1 if tuned well. Look for a header w/ a 2.5 inch collector, 2.5 inch carsound cat, and a 2.5 inch exhaust piping to maximize your gains.

yeah, it's fine, it only kicks in at about 50% throttle... commuting i doubt you'll do that more than maybe getting on the freeway or something. i've had mine for about 3 months, and i checked my compression/leakdown and i'm ok, and i probably drive a little harder than i should
