JDM oxygen sensor

This looks different to me, especially the connector. Any clue why it is different? Or even who makes it?

(I don't need a new O2 sensor, I just happened across this)

Ahh that would make sense since JDM instrument clusters have that strange light for a cat converter.

Why don't US cars use something like this?
