I was just wondering when doing this swap how do i get the gas guage to work right since i plugged it in when the guage was on E and i actually had some gas in the tank and it didnt go to how much was in like i thought it would how do i do this
its the differnce in years, 98-up itr clusters will do that. my jdm itr cluster does the same thing, i believe if you get a 97-back itr cluster it will work fine, but im not sure. there are a bunch of thread about this.
I got the problem figured out to help people in the future I am going to put the method I used to fix it even though it was a PITA. I took apart my gsr cluster and the ITR cluster and installed the guages from the ITR into my GSR cluster and all the guages worked for me.
