We have started working with VIR again for plans on Expo 8. At this point, we are 99.9% sure that we will have these dates for Expo 8 per VIR officials.
- June 9th/10th (Mon/Tue) 2008
At this point, we expect that Expo 8 would mirror Expo 7 closely. We are considering a different venue for the banquet due to the seating arrangement, but the layout, etc. will be the same as far as the agenda for the two days.
We anticipate raising the money ahead of time as we have done in previous years with the deadline being at the end of December.
The event will be structured as past Expos have been. VIR is a premier track, and it will take a lot of effort to make this happen, and we will need help spreading the word. VIR specifics can be found at
VIR
Note to OP: Additional info added to spur interest in the event...

[b said:***Drawing for FREE Driver, Instructor, and Guest Spots***[/b]] I thought it would be a little fun to get a contest / drawing going for a FREE Driver ($360), Instructor ($40), and Guest ($40) spot.
Anyone that signs up and pays before December 15th, 2007 will be eligible for their respective category. The list of eligible people will then be posted within the following day or two. The winners (1 per category) will be announced on January 2nd IF we have met the 85 minimum number that we need for paid drivers.
