Is there supposed to be a trim panel behind the pedals?

I just noticed that there are some plastic clip receptors on the firewall behind the clutch, brake & accelerator pedals.
Is there supposed to be a panel there?! If there is, could someone post a photo of their panel please?

Please see photo below of the receptors I am referring to...

Nope! Most likely is that something is mounted here in the RHD version of the Integra. Since everything is opposite on that car.

Sigh... glad to read this. Thanks! I was starting to get upset that a mechanic had removed it years ago and not put it back... Not that it has any real function but it's just the principle, ya know? :)
