2 JL Audio 13w7's with a JL Audio 1000/1 in each one.
I want to upgrade, what should I get?

I want to get new subs/amp(s) for my car. I currently have 2 10" kicker solobaric L7's and a JBL BP1200.1 amp. It sounds great and hits hard, but I want something that will be breath taking! Any ideas? thanks a lot

This is a little off topic but I'm out of country and I heard soundstream went out of business. Is this true? If not the SPLs are a good way to go,

a sound system can be breath taking even without subs... hence "system" meaning not just subs

If you ware wanting a similar performance go with a couple 12 L7's or 15's

Both would run with that W7 in a good ported box...stick with that amp, with one for each speaker to run at their full potential. After my L7 I'd have a hard time going back to a round sub...but rather then us tell you all this I'd highly suggest just going and listening to the speakers in person

I don't see the SQ of that being very good also why? he said he was pushing 150DB if that and you can do that with any of the setups listed above and have better sq at the same time.
oh and not to mention it isn't practicle AT ALL
try the jl 12w6v2 with the jl 1000/1 good sq and bass
what kind of "take you breath away..." do you want. Are you going for dB's with some clarity or great all around sound, meaning balanced great clarity. Also what kind of music will you be listening to? That might help you determine what kind of subs/ sub box you want. You can check out my profile for my system...good luck!
I am looking for something that is great all around sound. I mainly listen to Hip Hop, Trance, some Alt. I have about $1,500 in mind. I allready have 1 JBL BP 1200.1 amp, I might just get another one of those, so that will be approx $300, so I guess I have $1200 to spend on Subs & a box.
