back at christmas i posted some pics of my shortned dc sport short shifter, and some ppl had said they wanted pics on how to do it. well i had to do a how to website for my elective class and here it is making shifter shorter any question just pm me

here is a pic of what I did. I call it "DIY OEM Short Shifter" You need access to a welder or you can take it to a muffler shop for them to weld. Good luck. stefan525

The DC is already really short, are you sure you want to do this? Also, unless you have really long arms, it might be counter-productive because you lose time reaching for the knob.

no it looks much better, it isnt that much different u cant even tell it just looks really low, i had it installed for about a week before i made it lower, and i coundlt even tell the difference it just looks alot better, i have had my shifter like this for over 2 months now no complaint i wasnt happy with how high the dc shifter was, imo high shifters dont look good they look funny.
