hey i'm going to purchase a used t3/t4 turbo and i need help how to distinguish between the t3, t4 and t3/t4 turbo and also how to figure out the a/r. the seller seems to have no idea. please be as descriptive as possible and also pictures would be great.

That sounds really simple...is it like a vin tag type thing or is it casted right into the housing?

um usually its casted right into the housing or at least it was on my powerstroke.

it will not say t3/t4...its a t4 compressor with t3 turbine....you guys need some intensive research before buying...
