Hey,

How many times / how many layers of this spray window tint paint should I put on my taillights and my headlights to give them a "smoked" or "tinted" look? I'm looking for Audi TT or Chevy Impala-style tint, not old-Mustang-blackout-headlights-style tint darkness.

Thanks!
Ben

Don't even bother with the tint stuff... Use the regular Stained-Glass Red stuff... but put 6-7 layers ... mine came out very dark red like the back of the new Impala's ...

i would say three at first but if your not saisfied on how they look go with five than clear coat for protection, the clearcoat will lighten up the tint a little but you won't need to worry about the fading and such.
When i tinted my clear corners i used 4 light coats and it came out pretty dark. I used the transparent window tint spraypaint. They look really good, but if your headlights or taillights were this dark i dont think it would look good, IMO. If you use no more than 3 coats, it may be ok.
