on my teg i notice there is a little hole which coolant been coming out it right behind the thermosat my quesiton is it hard to fix ? the hose goes to the firewall

Is it a greyish plastic?

I had the same problem a month or so back.

The Thermostat housing has a tendency to get hot, then cold and crack the plastic plate....

My solution was to get a metal replacement plate..

no it not that it the hose that goes from there to the firewall
