poked around youtube and elsewhere to figure out how to de-pin the ignition switch plug.
couldn't even find anything on youtube despite there being quite a few switch replacement and de-pinning tutorials.
Honda tsb 95-023 is the only thorough guide to all Honda connectors circa 1995 that i could find.

Great find!

More than likely, my company (TE Connectivity, i.e. Tyco Electronics, AMP) manufactured that specific connector for Honda. I've never looked, but if our logo was embossed on the plastic (it would more than likely say "AMP" on it) I could possibly get the actual part number for the connector, thus finding the specific terminals, thus finding our manufacture specific hand tool. I see the hand tool listed in the above TSB, but Honda attached their part number to it.
