Hello. I'm usually on the hondasociety forums but i thought i'd give it a try here. basically i have a groupbuy going for HID kits from autolamps-online.com..

the kits they make are the best quality thats why i chose them. the way this groupbuy works is once ur in.. you place your order using a password and 5% is taken off the listed price.. for example.. the 9006 4100K kit is 499 but take 5% off and total comes to $470.00 each..

different kits have different prices.. but the prices include shipping.. these kits are coming from london england (thats where the companies based)

please let me know asap if your in.. all we need now is 2 more people..

well.. even i find it a bit expensive.. but its the fact that its the best kit around.. they have the focal point in the correct place and the service is outstanding.. they try to please the customer...

anyways.. zigga (he's my cousin) can vouch on me for the fact that I do a lot of research before buying or investing money in something.. so i really believe in their products

and about the off-road thing.. every kit is labelled as offroad use because its illegal to have HID's in a car that doesn't come with it stock.. but you wont get harrased if its not blinding people.. as long as you aim it down a bit more.. you'll be fine.. and integra's use projectors.. so its better than reflector housings like mine

just wanted to update you guys..

the groupbuy has gone through and i believe two people have ordered their kits already.. me being one of them..

the company has allowed the groupbuy to stay open for 6 months.. so you can order anytime in that 6 months and still get the discount..

we didn't have 5 people but in 6 months at least 5 people will have ordered most likely

That price doesn't sound like a really good deal to me for a 9006 HID set-up that is only producing light at a 4100K temp. That is the same exact light temp. that most Hyper White Xenon bulbs produce at a fraction of the cost. Most OEM HID set-ups produce light at a 5000K temp. or greater thus giving them that bluish/purplish tint. The Hella/Phillips HID set-up which is used in BMW's/Mercedes's/ECT...only run about $400 for the 9006 HID set-up.

well.. just to answer all questions its one thing to mimic the light colour ie. 4100K but its another to get the light output.. no matter what hyperwhite bulbs you use you will never get the same light output..

its hard to prove this fact without showing someone the difference.. and those hyperwhite bulbs are colour coated anyways.. here's what i'll do.. once i get my kit and installed.. i'll take pics of mine compared to zigga's (he did the 9005 conversion).. that should show you everything..

anyways.. i realize kits are cheaper else where.. but its the quality i'm lookin for.. i dont want no kakamany kit that breaks down or doesn't use the correct focal point and all the other things needed to make sure the bulbs are rebased properly..

what people dont realize is what companies do is get those mercedes and bmw bulbs (which are 4100K by the way) and rebase them.. now what sets different kits apart is how they were rebased..

i hope that explains all questions
