Anyone think of making HID system by themselves?
just wonder can we save those couple hundreds dollars!
or can we get a HID system from other cars from junkyard, and install on our Tegs, will that be a lot cheaper?
Any ideas or opinions?

My buddy did that for his '98GS.
He needed a custom wiring harness specially made to fit into the exsisting wiring.
Think in total it cost him around $300 or so...

I'll get more info on how exactly he did his.

(1) How ar eyou planning to get some other OEM bulb to fit in the 9006 hole? Realize the Integra's OEM Headlight assembly is at least $350 if you screw it up trying to hack in something that doesn't belong

(2) Those OEM HID systems are designed to be in the car when the car is being built.. more specifically they are not designed to be "added on to existing non-OEM" like the Catz, Phillips, etc kits are
