As far as the cooling process goes I just built an LS/VTEC and I used a MUGEN RACING THERMOSTAT AND MUGEN FAN SWITCH and these two parts keep my engine very cool about a 1/4 of the way up the thermostat at all times. A bored and tapered throttle body is a very good choice with a port matched intake manifold or the Individual Throttle Bodies if you have the money. Another simple upgrade is the new Hondata Heatshield Intake Manifold Gasket Good Stuff for a cheap price. If you already built the engine then forget about it, but if you have the money buy a stroker kit for the added torque or build a b20 vtec the cost of the stroker kit and the cost of the engine internals should be relatively close. Toda cams are said to be one of the best cams for honda dohc vtec engines. Peace!
