some pics of my newly acquired antenna

now I just gotta get the right sized hardware, I bought the wrong size 'cause I didn't have the antenna and when I asked the part guy at Honda what size the bolt was he gave it to me backwards (height x width)

I'll post some pics with it on the teg once I get it done this weekend!

heres my alternate to the s2000 antenna. its a direct bolt on. no extra parts required. i got it from some guy on ebay. i think his name was locustom...

Why not relocate this S2000 antenna to the roof, possibly where the rear hatch squirter is...?

Is it just me but does this S2000 antenna mod look plain ugly. It totally does not fit the theme of the teg what so ever. I'm not insulting anyone's taste just the fad itself and the fact that it seems to be gaining ground kinda like the glowing winshield squirters. Why replace a perfectly cool RETRACTABLE chrome antenna with a short slightly angled black antenna for no apparent reason other than "well it looks cool on the S2000."

personally, i think it looks better, cleaner, and more stable than the long retractable antenna. Goodjob with the switch.

i think it just looks too small for our tegs, maybe find a better place to put it, but then that would meen covering the old attena hole up

Man, I wish someone would make a kit for this, similar to what BSQ does for the ITR rear sway bar. I think I'll tell him to take a look at the installation procedures and see if he can put a kit together!

This antenna mast is designed to be used with an amplifier which it comes with stock. Even with the amplifier, it will not work as well as the stock one. Just using the mast alone will not work very well. Diagram.

I bought the kit from him about a year ago, and I can tell you its great. Took me about an hour and a half to get it all on. It really was better to get this kit than to search home depots for weeks like so many others do...

Oh, reception definately does go down, buts its RADIO. Who cares,

yeah, i hardly ever listen to the radio...if i start to ill get the satellite radio anyway....im all about my sound system and cds just sound better in it...i simply like the clean look of the antenna...mine doesnt retract....its very ugly and annoying...
