I just recently bought some AC S7 reverse gauge faces. I am having a little trouble installing them. My first question would be: Do I just over lay the new faces over the old ones, or do I have to take the old ones off first? 2nd, If I need to remove the old ones, how do I get the needles off then?

lay them over the old one with double sided tape, do not touch the needles at alll!!!!!!! especially the gas needle. be very careful and slip gauges through needles and stick down. Make sure that needles will clear gauges at all times otherwise you will have problems in the future. MAKE SURE THERE IS CLEARANCE.

yOU HAVE TO GO AROUND THE NEEDLES, THEY DoNT REALLY COME OFF. AND YOU SHOULD GET SOME 3M SPRAY GLUE AND GLUE THEM DOWN OR THEY WILL ARC AND YOUR NEEDLES WILL GET STUCK. i HAD TO TINKER WITH MINE FOR ABOUT 3 DAYS BEFORE THEY WERE RIGHT.

yes the 3m glue will be better than double sided tape. the glue will give it more clearance from the needles than the double sided tape will.
