Hi,

I'm thinking of putting stock springs back on soon. Since I didn't take them out myself, I just wanted to make sure what goes where.

Please confirm this:
1. front springs are slightly longer than rear ones.
2. springs don't have orientation (right / left).
3. springs have top / bottom orientation.

correct me if I'm wrong.
I'm trying to tackle installing them first time.

thanks.

That sounds right... If you go to www.redpepperracing.com they have teck. guides for our cars. That should show you every thing you need to know.
Be very careful with your springs as they are under quite a bit of pressure.
You don't "really" need a spring compressor but make sure the spring is pointing in a safe direction when you take the nut off. Stand on the stut when your disassembling it to keep it from shooting across the floor.
Good luck!

oh, good.
thanks

I'll print out manual from redpepperracing before I start this job.

another question about top/bottom orientation.
is the narrower part of the spring bottom? meaning it is supported by the sleeve of the struts .(that's what I think according to the diagram). Please verify.

thanks
