has anyone gotten a letter from acura saying that their car is qualified for an emmissions control system inspection and they would replace any and all ignition components for free? i got one last week and only have 4k miles till i exceed the max mileage warranty limit.

Does it say to go to the dealer? There are many scam companies that sell you 'extended warranties' when they have no connection to American Honda Motor Co.

If you can scan/take a pic of the letter that might help.

well, I don't see why or how you could have been qualified (lol, think about it) unless you requested it or whatever.. I say, if you go ahead with it, be present.. I know for some of the Lude's there was a recall about the ignition or somethin', but I doubt that, so just be present if you decide to go - who knows, maybe the manager wants to treat you to a special or something..

There were a few years of G3 Integras that qualified for an extended emissions warranty. I say go to the dealer.

actually i think i got one too. my dad said i have like an extended warrantee and at 105k miles im supposed to take it in for inspection.

I heard people from forumslike acuraworld,acura-integra.com having the same letter ,and is not a scam a few of them called the dealer, or went to one and it was legit

yeah i got one also its legit, took it to acura and got my whole emission setup replaced. you can also call them up and make sure that it is legit.
