Before I post it to the world, I wanted to see if anyone here would be interested.
Sad to see it go, but it's got to. I just bought yet another car, and I am running out of room.
It has not ran for at least 5 years. In these 5 years it has sat right here in my garage.
The only rust on the car that I know of is the sunroof panel, which can be replaced fairly easy.
Story to why it's not running: a mouse made the engine bay its home during winter about 6-7 years ago.
I went to put insurance cards in the glove box, and saw stuffing along with some grass and hay.
I popped the hood to find more of this on the valve cover and battery.
It's been cleaned all out but it ran funny after I cranked it, holding down the gas, RPMs would no go past 3,000.
Maybe a clogged cat, or an electrical issue. This is definitely a "project car" now.
I know it doesn't matter to some, but here is what is on the car.
Eibach Sportline springs (probably needs to be replaced)
KYB 4-way adjustable shocks (probably needs to be replaced)
Brembo slotted & crossdrillled rotors front & rear with Hawk pads.
Motegi MR7 17" wheels
BF Goodrich stickys, (probably needs to be replaced, sitting for 5 years, but only about 100 miles on them)
Ingalls camber kit 1.7 front, 3.6 rear
MSD everything in their catalog back in 2003
Tenzo R adjustable seats, these are fading
RCI 5 point harness, both seats
Magnetic drain plugs, oil & tranny
Needs driverside paint on fender (new fender) and a corner lamp
These ****ty pics are the only ones I have here (at work) and I'll try to add more when I can.
This car was awesome to me for more than a decade, and I know I'll regret letting it go
Asking $5,000. I know this is high, but I am reasonable, but not crazy. These are hard to find rust-free.
Driving this and driving my R, I can honestly say, this was more fun and handled better than the R.
