Recently picked up this 98 4-door, 5-speed Integra for my son. He's not even 15, but wanted to learn how to work on a car...so we are taking our time to restore this. First working to pull the engine which burns heavy oil...cylinder 3 compression is quite low. We'll see what we find in there!

It drives well otherwise and all electronics working. So hoping it's largely refreshing of most mechanical items. Starting to create a list of items to replace once we get the motor pulled and examined.

No doubt I'll have questions along the way for this audience!

Very cool, I hope it's as challenging as it needs to be while still remaining a fun project.

Got the engine pulled, tore down, and off to machine shop! Now turning our attention to body. Found hidden rust on quarter panels. Pretty sure the best bet is tracking down rust free donor panels to replace. We are about to get a lesson in body work and welding 😲 We have some experienced local friends to hopefully guide us!
