yeah, i was very happy with the times i ran last night..i was pretty much guessing i was going to get these times but i was a little unsure before i started..kind of got butterflies..

my first run SUCKED!
i screwed up on the launch.. ran a 15.7..
then i came right back and ran a 15.4
then i came back, probably after my tires were a little warmed up and ran a few 15.3 passes.


But here was my best time of the night, i'll type my slip out for you..(i have like 50 of these things!)

MPH ... 71.43
1000 ... 12.686
1/4 ... 15.276
MPH ... 90.01


i was trying so hard to break into the 14's.. i lowered my tire pressure, took out my radio and glove box..NOTHING..

when i hit the 15.2 i was really determined to break 14's.. well anyway..i didnt, but it will be so easy to next time.. oh well, 'twas fun!

usdm ITR trans.
ACT clutch, 12lb flywheel

well, i could get a fully built head, and rev to high heaven.. crank pulley, headers, high flow cat, and intake and run mid 13's all day all motor LS.. Some cam tuning and slicks for 12's..

or TURBO!

i think i might take my second choice.. =)
my car would be so sick with a kit. guaranteed, 7psi, untuned, im hitting easy mid 13 or less..So much bang for the buck!


so im unsure, N/a LS's are sweet, though!
i'll have to get back to you on the "whats next" thing..=)

Nah, you can do mid 13 streetable pretty easily.

There was a guy on Honda-tech running low 14's with just 404's and a crappy exhaust setup. 404s are very streetable. (403s idle almost like stock)

With the right compression, and better exhaust, thats in the 13s easily.

13's are very easy.. well for my case..

i could probably hit 12's in an all motor LS.

Just seeing what i can do with the little mods that i have, im confident them numbers are right around the corner.

ideal setup to run 12's in my LS..oN THE STREET!

some crower 404's (tuned)
timing advanced
built head- (port and polished
polished valves, bronze valve guides.
welded combustion chamber, springs, retainers)
Aftermarket IM( ? brand)
a nice header(hytech, smsp)
2.5inch twin loop exhaust
crank pulley
suspension
new plugs, wires
slicks(track) rotas on the street
weight reduction
ITR transmission
8lb flywheel
6-puck clutch
traction bar

really, all in all..
i can do all of that for a fairly cheap price..
Total of maybe 3 grand tops..
considering i already have the ITR tranny.

12's are easy

Are these good times mostly attributed to the ITR tranny, or does the driver make that much of a difference? I know for me elevation makes my car a little slower. But those sound like some solid LS times. Keep up the good work.

yea mostly the tranny...look @ his mods the only mod that i see helping him get those sweet times is the tranny, add all his mods up and no ITR tranny and he will be getting high 15s..stock times
