I am going to be changing a blown head gasket today.how should i try to get water/oil crud out of the motor after i drain it?

I think he is saying once everything is drained the oil crap (maybe build up) or something.. how should he go about cleaning it out...

i think it should be fine unless you really see anything extravagant...

drain it. fill it, run it for a few minutes, drain it, fill it.
