They both are exhaust that are more for looks/sound difference rather than any performance gains over stock.
dont go for aerospeed, spend the extra buck to get a greddy/tanabe exhaust... it really makes a difference
the arospeed mufflers have a nice sound, but don't get it if you want any kind of performance out of it.
ok but the once u guys are saying are over 200 $ right.. and about how many horses will that aprosimetly add ?
thxs guys
I bought my car used with a catback exhaust on it but the muffler was cracked very bad. My friend sold me an arospeed tunable bom muffler for 30 bux and it sounds and works fine for me. I've been thinking aout replacing it because of all the bad stuff i hear about arospeed. I really like the sound. Am I loosing that much performance?

Ugh, here we go again...that depends on what you have done to your car and a bunch of other stuff.
After reading your profile, it says you have a 3inch catback 5zigen, hmmmm wishful thinking perhaps?

This a direct excerpt from Mike's articles:

A common question I often get on Honda forums is: should I get a 4-2-1 (tri-Y) header or should I get a 4-1? And which exhaust has a throaty deep sound and the best for my setup?

You may want to understand some basics about header & exhaust design before making your decision about buying a header or exhaust, so that your choice is an informed one. You have to remember that it is called an exhaust SYSTEM. Getting a header without considering how the header fits in with the cat and exhaust could prove to be a mistake you will regret in the future, if the header turns out to be incompatible with the other system parts. The same can be said about an exhaust...it must be chosen with consideration for how the exhaust fits in with the header and cat design. You may not want to buy these parts without thinking about the other parts of the system. They work together as a unit to extract as much exhaust flow speed as possible.

In this section, I'll try to show various aspects of header and exhaust design and how these design characteristics affect your car's power output.

definetely wishful thinking.
a part does not add a certain amount of hp.

if it were that easy, you and I could buy our way up to 200 whp like Leggo blocks. Reality does not work that way. Please lose the newbie way of thinking: i.e. what's the next part to get and how much will it add? that's pretty creative hp accounting. well, to answer your question, if you get the wrong design for that, it can lose power...that's the shocker isn't it?

The exhaust can assist header and cat generate higher flow...that's what makes more power. You size the exhaust SYSTEM to the hp goal. guess what? the exhaust is only 1 part of the exhaust system. if you buy one without considering the size you need and how it worls with the header and the cat, you can undo all the gains made by a header and aftermaket cat.

systems ...think about it....
